Rev. Nate Martin, Senior Pastor
Nathaniel Martin is the pastor of Hermon Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Boyce College in Louisville, KY (B.A. Biblical & Theological Studies) and the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, NC (M.Div. Biblical Studies). It is his desire to faithfully care for the church by proclaiming the Scriptures, leading in love for God and neighbor, while being on mission for the glory of God. He is married to Kelsey and they are blessed with three children, Isaac, Rae, and Luke.
Rev. Larry Underwood, Associate Pastor
Pastor Larry is a native to Union County. He is a graduate of Monroe High School and is currently attending Trinity College of Bible and Theological Seminary. He is married to Teresa Underwood and they have two children and two grand children.
Pastor Larry was called to follow and serve Christ in 2001. He is committed to follow where Christ calls he and his family to serve, for as long as He would have them be there. Prior to joining the staff here at Hermon, Pastor Larry and family served as IMB missionaries in Durban, South Africa for two years. He has been on staff at Hermon since September 7, 2003.
His key bible verses are found in Matthew 28:16-20.
When he is not actively serving at the church, Pastor Larry enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Mr. T. C. Carter, Sunday School Director
Mr. TC Carter is a life-long member of Hermon Baptist Church. He rededicated his life in surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in 1977. His service during his time at Hermon include: Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Director, Missions Coordinator, Evangalism, but most primarily as an encourager. His position now is that of Sunday School Superindent. However, he also views himself to reach the lost, help equip and encourage the body of believers.
He and wife, Brenda, have been married for 53 years. They have been blessed with four children, 12 grand children, and 4 great-grand children.
His life verse is Phillippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
During his free time, Mr. TC enjoys spending time with family and helping those in need.
